iPad Prices

 

 

The iPad is Apple's entry into the very competitive ultra portable computer market ( or netbooks as they have become known ). It will launch in March / April at a yet to be announced price.

The major difference between the iPad and any of it's competitiors is the massive 9.7" multi-touch screen. Apple see this as their major selling point, allowing a completely different experience to anythign out there. Think iPhone meets Macbook.

Apple are making very bold claims about the iPad. Their own website states

" you can do things with these apps that you can’t do on any other device"

Now Apple will obviously tell you it's great but if you look at the specification it's clear the iPad isn't just an Apple netbook.
